  1. Is the stone & siding you chose, the same as this model?? I like that stone. And I love that siding color. Like a slate blue. I was so bummed when SR showed me colors. Everything is LIGHTER. Ugh. We were hoping for a darker green or blue/grey like your model. I guess townships approve the colors and they didn't want dark colors. No idea.... :-(

  2. PS. Can you post a picture of the tan brown granite? I don't think we have that as an option. I seriously feel like I'm reading our home selections on your blog so I'm eager to see the progress. I think we are choosing lighter cabinets for the bathrooms though.

    1. Hi! Yes. The stone on the model is the stone that we choose. I love it too! The siding on the model is called Twilight. It isn't offered in Maryland either. We tried really hard to get it. All of our options were lighter as well. We wanted either a dark grey or blue, but our only options were pastels and neutrals that didn't give us the look we were trying to achieve. We did settle on Galaxy Gray. It's a medium shade of grey. It is the darkest color that we could get that would allow us to achieve a similar look. I'll post a picture of the tan brown granite shortly!

  4. Thanks Christina. We ended up with a lighter granite. I can't wait to see how yours turns out! I forget if you told me the stone color. I'm seeing the blogs I like used some sort of Buckingham but I don't believe we have that option. Which stone is this?

  5. Ok, I just re-read your post. Lol. Sorry!! Crude...we don't have autumn ledgestone. Just a Cut Cobble Autumn and 4 other choices.
